Valentine's Day Sculpture

I have no idea who did this bronze sculpture in Holland. I am pictured sitting in front of it. I have tried to research it to no avail. This photo was likely taken in the late 80's. It's a great tribute to the natural beauty of a woman. In my mind, the pose she strikes is bold, expressive, exuberant, confidant, and she is obviously proud of her body. I think American women are frequently too self conscious about their physical form. Too bad that many have become sick, anorexic, or depressed over a normal woman's figure. I don't know who did this work but a lot of women would do well to embrace her stance...in mind, body, and spirit...and neither sex nor the male gaze has anything to do with it. It is simple, natural beauty...harmonious with everything that is good in the universe. Happy Valentine's Day Ladies!!!
