So...I used my memory of pallet partner's cell phone picture which was a graffiti painting. I remembered the color yellow and a black outline. The project was also curvilinear and multiple items combined into one. So It stuck round shaped (cut with scissors) yellow stickies and outlined them with black marker and connected to an original, signed book of poetry by an obscure, African American poet from the south whose poetry seemed curvilinear and organic to me. Added that to a crumpled modern art book cover. Next I photographed it and adjusted the contrast and color values because I feel that the photons eminating from the picture may be travelling in a non-curvilinear path. Essentially, I imitated the bending of light photons like in a rainbow or prism to make color/contrast differences as curvilinear as possible...Here's the photo...but the real thing will not be able to accomplish the photon trick.....I think what I love the most is when you see the yellow stickies I put together as transparent, the interior lines are curvilinear. But, if you look at reflected light from the yellow stickies...the connected points look non-curvilinear...perspective issues always seem relevant in art. gosh, what if we could see everything the same??!! Ha!!! Through the homogenization of society, we are all doing just that!!! We are adopting a hive culture and mentality...who knows where this will lead us? Only the expansion into the reaches of space will prevent this....
