One short pencil found today...you know...the ones they give you to take a test.
So...I went up to work on some sculpture today. The second wax mold is OK. Did some clean up and some other things.
But...the best news is...someone or something completely smashed my detestable, repulsion art piece!!!! Ha, ha, ha!!! I laughed like the first upright standing primate seeing above the tall grass to a distant horizon for the very first time. It is good that it was destroyed because I don't like having my art up too long. In fact, my personal opinion about exhibitions is they should be only for a few hours...like speed dating...and then the public should be allowed in the museum to destroy all the works like the Riddler in the first Batman movie when he goes in and deconstructs they great artworks. Well, it's an attention span thing...Focus!! Focus!! Focus!!! Then move on to the next, new thing!!! Forget the old!!!
Deconstruction is the new thing. The fundamental precept of deconstructionism is everything has been built on a lie. I just wonder if the deconstructionists are going to want to be deconstructed when they're wealthy, comfortable, got their kids in good schools and have a great financial portfolio. My guess is that they'll turn into chicken shits because they will have destroyed the very thing which empowered their ability to be deconstructionists...like a voluntary, professional military force...everyone should learn Mandarin and start singing David Bowie's: "Little China Girl" instead of "American Woman." Time to deconstruct the deconstructionists...what would that be called? Constructionism?!!
